Turn WordPress posts into a ready-to-send newsletter in one click.

The free plugin turns your week’s posts into a branded, platform-ready newsletter. Pro removes the last manual step: one click, and the edition is sitting in Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor as a draft, ready to review and send. No exporting, no copy and paste.

Requires the free DMC Posts to Newsletter Builder plugin. Works with your existing Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor account.

How it works

Curate. In the free builder: search your published posts, drag them into the edition and set the subject, intro and template on the live preview.

Push. This is Pro. One click creates a draft in Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor, carrying your branding, your sender details and the platform’s own merge tags.

Review and send. In your platform: open the draft, give it a final once-over and send it to the audience you choose. Nothing ever sends from WordPress.

What Pro adds

The free plugin builds the newsletter. Pro gets it into your platform.

Pro

Push your newsletter to Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor

Connect Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor on the settings screen and a push button appears beside your edition. Mailchimp receives the rendered HTML inline; Campaign Monitor fetches it straight from your site.

The draft arrives with your branding, your sender details and the platform’s own merge tags for first names, unsubscribe links and web versions.

Pro

Push again and it updates your draft. No duplicates.

Changed a headline after pushing? Push again. Pro tracks the draft it created and swaps it for the new one, so your editors always see exactly one current draft per platform.

Anything already sent is never touched. A previous campaign is only removed once it is provably still a draft, and that guard is covered by unit tests on PHP 8.1 to 8.3.

Pro

Automate it with the WordPress Abilities API

If you don’t automate anything, skip this bit. If you do: Pro registers the newsletter with the WordPress Abilities API, so MCP clients and agents can search posts, set the selection and render previews.

The push abilities ship switched off. They stay invisible to automation until you deliberately enable them, and even then they only ever create drafts.

Free plugin

Built on the free newsletter plugin

The curation screen, the branded email and the platform-aware import URLs all come from the free plugin, DMC Posts to Newsletter Builder, on WordPress.org.

Pro simply attaches to it. Activate the add-on and the push tools appear; deactivate it and everything steps politely back to manual import. No lock-in, no licence keys phoning home.

The Posts to Newsletter Builder curation screen: articles being added to an edition beside a live email preview

The curation screen · free on WordPress.org

The Pro plugin can push to your mail platform, but it can never email your readers by accident. It only ever creates a draft in Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor, and you press send only when you’re happy.

Built for a real newsroom, not a demo.

I look after WordPress for a regional newspaper that sends its news out by email. Every edition used to be rebuilt by hand: export the stories, paste them into the platform, fix the images, double-check the links. The free builder replaced that ritual, and the push button in Pro removed the last of it.

So this is the tool I wished existed, and it earns its keep in production every week. If that sounds like your newsletter routine, it will fit right in.

Questions, answered.

What happens after I buy?

Stripe takes the payment, then I email you the plugin zip and installation instructions, within a business day. Install it beside the free plugin, add your Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor details on the settings screen, and the push button appears. If anything snags, reply to that email and I will sort it out.

Do I need the free plugin?

Yes. The free plugin is the engine: it builds and renders the newsletter. Pro clips onto it and adds the push. Install the free one first (it is on WordPress.org), then Pro beside it.

Can it send an email by mistake?

No. Pro only ever creates a draft. Sending happens inside Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor, by you, after you have looked the edition over. There is no send button to press by mistake.

Will it work with my account?

It works with your existing Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor account; you just add an API key on the settings screen. No new subscriptions, and your audiences and lists stay exactly where they are.

What if it is not for me?

Reply to your receipt within 14 days and I will refund it. No forms, no hoops.
